Welcome to Sweet Annies Saturday Sampler 2008.

This year's Sampler is On Point by Bits n’ Pieces. It is a diagonal set quilt of fourteen framed 12 ½” blocks and one pieced star or graceful rose appliquéd center 24” block of your choice. The pattern is designed for nine months but we will be piecing it over a twelve month period. The quilt will finish into an 80” x 101” bed size quilt.
Sampler pick up dates are the first Saturday and the third Wednesday of each month. We will continue not to charge a fee if you miss a pick-up date but we ask that you try to pick up on you designated date.
One block will be completed in September, November, December, January, March, May, June and July. Two blocks will be completed in October, February and April. The larger center block will be completed in August. Finish kits will be available for four months starting in June 2009 through September 2009. Sign up and payment for finish kits will be during the months of February and March. Finish kits will only be made for those who have signed up and paid for their kit.
The suggested retail for the pattern is $28.99. The cost for this sampler will be $24.99. The pattern needs to be purchased at sign up. The complete pattern packet will be included with the first month block... We ask that you do not share or copy patterns out of respect for the designer’s work.

This is a scrappy quilt and though we do try to give you exactly what is in our sample quilt; we reserve the right to substitute fabrics if the need arises. With that in mind you may also add some of your own fabrics to personalize your quilt.
Block completion is your responsibility not ours. We encourage you to complete each block on time because it is no fun to get behind. Please bring in finished blocks each month. Participants who complete their required block or blocks each month on time will have their names added to a drawing to win a free backing for their quilt.
